Description

The OAK-SoM (25 pcs) is the embedded variant (BW1099EMB) of the DepthAI System on Module, built for developers embedding Spatial AI — depth perception, neural inference and object tracking — directly into microcontroller-based products.

Key highlights

• Embedded variant with 128 MB NOR flash and boot-switch capability.
• Boots over USB or NOR flash, enabling SPI communication with microcontrollers running bare-metal C/C++.
• No host OS required, unlike the standard BW1099 which needs a Linux, Mac or Windows host.
• Reference design: comes pre-mounted on the OAK-D-IOT-40 embedded DepthAI board.
• Rich connectivity through a single 100-pin connector: MIPI, Quad SPI, I2C, UART, USB2/USB3 and GPIO.

The OAK IoT series is now community-supported only and is provided as-is. SPI interface support is in initial testing and is not yet feature-complete. This pack contains 25 pcs.
