OptiTrack was founded with a mission to revolutionize motion capture technology. Our first product, SmartNav, was one of the first motion capture devices that allowed users to control a mouse with only head movements.

This innovation continued with the creation of TrackIR, enabling gamers to control in-game cameras with their head movement. By using TrackIR technology we created the first multi-camera motion capture volume, laying the foundation of what would soon become OptiTrack.

Today, OptiTrack remains at the forefront of motion capture technology. Providing cutting-edge camera systems, software, and accessories to professionals in a variety of fields. OptiTrack will continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible with innovations in rigid body tracking, skeleton tracking, Ethernet-based Prime cameras, and most recently, trained markersets.
