SO-ARM101 3D Printed Parts Kit (SE) (EU)
Description
Open-Source 6-Axis Robotic Arm
native support for Hugging Face LeRobot,
supports Jetson Orin Nano Super / Orin NX Super / PC
Hugging Face project
The SO-ARM100 / 101 robotic arm is an official open-source project by Hugging Face. And this kit stay fully synchronized with the project, allowing users to follow the official tutorials and examples directly and experience new features as soon as the project is updated.
The servo driver board used in the SO-ARM100 / 101 project are provided by Waveshare. By working closely with the official development team, we ensure excellent high compatibility and stability between hardware and open-source code
To lower the entry barrier for beginners, some of our kits include the parts such as high-definition cameras, USB hubs, and metal desk-mount arms for cameras. After unboxing and assembly, you can run the official examples without any additional hardware
* only CAM Kit and Jetson Orin Nano Kit versions include the above parts.
the robotic arm moves more flexibly and freely with 6-DoF spatial motion, easily performing complex tasks such as grasping and handling
High precision and strong grip
The SO-ARM100 series is equipped with bus servos rated at 19.5 kg·cm @ 7.4V torque, while the SO-ARM101 series uses bus servos rated at 30 kg·cm @ 12V torque. Both series feature 12-bit magnetic encoders for joint angle feedback, offering higher precision and improved load capacity
3D-printed structural parts are made from photosensitive resin instead of normal PLA. They offer durability, smooth surfaces, and fine details, combining excellent performance with a premium appearance
Wider Data Collection Coverage
The CAM Kit and Jetson Orin Nano Kit equipped with dual cameras, providing a wider field of view and enhanced perception capabilities to help you effortlessly capture environmental details
The CAM Kit and Jetson Orin Nano Kit equipped with USB hub, allows seamless switching between dual hosts for model training and experiment testing, without repeatedly plugging and unplugging the robotic arm or camera devices, significantly boosting efficiency

Master Robotic Arm

Sub Robotic Arm

- the dimensions above are for reference only and may differ slightly from the actual size.

Step 1: Choose the series based on the arm torque
- Higher grip force / higher torque → Choose the SO-ARM101 series (the sub robotic arm uses bus servos rated at 30 kg·cm @ 12V torque)
- Standard teaching / project practice → Choose the SO-ARM100 series (the sub robotic arm bus servos rated at 19.5 kg·cm @ 7.4V torque)
Step 2: If you choose the SO-ARM101 series, and select the teaching feel
- Prioritizing teaching efficiency and a smooth, low-resistance guiding arm → select the packages with the “(SE)” suffix (guiding arm uses virtual servos, better suited for long-duration teaching)
Step 3: No 3D structural parts required? Choose the kit without 3D parts
- You can print 3D structural parts yourself, saving the cost of pre-printed 3D components
Step 4: Need visual and multi-angle data acquisition? Choose the dual-camera kit version [Recommended]
- Vision-ready: Equipped with dual cameras for more comprehensive coverage and more efficient data acquisition
- Flexible with your own main controller: The package includes all necessary accessories except the main board, allowing use with a PC or your existing Jetson Orin Nano board
- High cost-effectiveness: Retains the full feature experience while further lowering the entry cost for robotic arm applications, making development easier and more flexible
Step 5: Need an all-in-one solution? Choose the Jetson Orin Nano kit version
- Paired with the Jetson Orin Nano Super (Waveshare basic kit 8GB version), it enables low-latency, high-throughput AI computing
- The Jetson Orin Nano platform delivers rich interfaces and powerful computing capabilities, enabling robotic arms to perform more effectively in visual recognition, path planning, and real-time feedback. Significantly enhancing the overall scalability and intelligence of the system
- Combined with LeRobot pre-trained and teaching data, you can quickly complete the full workflow from data to strategy to deployment
