Description
The OAK-D Pro W PoE is a Series 2 OAK depth camera with wide field-of-view cameras, an IR laser dot projector for active stereo, and an IR illumination LED for night vision, in a rugged Power-over-Ethernet housing. It is built for industrial and outdoor deployments that need a single-cable connection, wide-scene depth perception and on-device spatial AI.
Key highlights
- Power over Ethernet: full 802.3af / Class 3 PoE compliance with 1000BASE-T (1 Gbps) over a single cable.
- Industrial connectors: M12 X-coded PoE connector plus an M8 A-coded connector for IO (USB2, FSYNC, STROBE, power and an auxiliary GPIO), with a cap for waterproofing.
- Wide FOV optics: stereo pair up to 150° DFOV to capture more of the scene in a single frame.
- Active stereo: Ams Belago1.1 IR laser dot projector casts 4700 dots to improve depth on blank walls, floors and other low-texture surfaces.
- Night vision: flood IR LED illumination lets you run AI/CV on mono streams in low-light and no-light conditions.
- On-device AI (RVC2): 4 TOPS total (1.4 TOPS for AI) runs custom neural models, stereo depth, object tracking and on-board computer vision.

Depth perception
Baseline of 7.5cm between the left and right stereo cameras. Minimum perceivable distance: ~20cm (400P or 800P, extended), ~37cm (800P). Maximum perceivable distance: ~21 meters.
Power
Powered and connected over PoE. A PoE injector or switch is required to power the device.

Weight: 184g.
Laser safety
Classified as a Class 1 Laser Product under EN/IEC 60825-1, Edition 3 (2014). Do not open the device or the stereo module; there are no user-serviceable parts, and invisible laser radiation is present when opened. Avoid direct exposure to the beam and do not use magnifying optics with the projector.
