Description
The OAK-D Pro W is a Series 2 OAK depth camera with wide field-of-view cameras, an IR laser dot projector for active stereo, and an IR illumination LED for night vision. It is built for developers and integrators who need reliable spatial AI and depth perception across wide scenes, including low-texture surfaces and low-light environments.

- Active stereo: Ams Belago1.1 IR laser dot projector casts 4700 dots to improve depth on blank walls, floors and other low-texture surfaces.

- On-device AI (RVC2): 4 TOPS total (1.4 TOPS for AI) runs custom neural models, stereo depth, object tracking and on-board computer vision.

- Sensor choice: select either a 120° DFOV IMX378 (12MP) or a 150° DFOV OV9782 (1MP) color camera.

Depth perception
Baseline of 7.5cm between the left and right stereo cameras. Minimum perceivable distance: ~20cm (400P, extended), ~35cm (400P or 800P, extended), ~70cm (800P). Maximum perceivable distance: ~35 meters.
Power
Powered over USB-C. Because of the high power draw of the dot projector and illumination LED, a Y-adapter is required when using those functions.

Weight: 91g.
Laser safety
Classified as a Class 1 Laser Product under EN/IEC 60825-1, Edition 3 (2014). Do not open the device or the stereo module; there are no user-serviceable parts, and invisible laser radiation is present when opened. Avoid direct exposure to the beam and do not use magnifying optics with the projector.
