Description
The OAK-D Pro (Auto Focus) is a Series 2 depth-AI camera that perceives the world like a human — pairing an active-stereo depth system with a 12MP colour camera and on-device neural inference. It builds on the OAK-D by adding an IR laser dot projector (for accurate depth on blank, low-texture surfaces) and an IR illumination LED for low- and no-light environments. Ideal for robotics, spatial AI, logistics, and machine-vision projects.

On-device processing (RVC2)
Built on the Robotics Vision Core 2: 4 TOPS total (1.4 TOPS for AI). Runs any convertible AI model, H.264/H.265/MJPEG encoding (4K/30, 1080p/60), stereo depth with post-processing and RGB-depth alignment, plus 2D/3D object tracking and on-device computer vision (warp/dewarp, resize, crop, edge detection, feature tracking).
Depth perception
Baseline 7.5 cm. Minimum perceivable distance ~20 cm (400P, extended) to ~70 cm (800P); maximum ~35 m. Weight: 91 g.
Laser safety
Classified as a Class 1 Laser Product under EN/IEC 60825-1, Edition 3 (2014). Do not open the enclosure or use magnifying optics with the projector; avoid direct exposure to the beam. There are no user-serviceable parts. The laser dot projector and flood LED are disabled by default and are enabled via the DepthAI API.
