Description
The OAK-D-PoE is a Power-over-Ethernet spatial AI camera from Luxonis, designed for industrial and fixed-installation deployments where a single Ethernet cable delivers both power and gigabit data. Its three on-board cameras feed stereo and RGB vision directly into the OAK-SoM-Pro for on-device depth and AI processing.

Depth perception
The camera has a 7.5 cm stereo baseline. Minimum perceivable distance is ~20 cm (400P, extended), ~35 cm (400P or 800P, extended) or ~70 cm (800P); maximum perceivable distance is ~35 meters. Extended refers to the StereoDepth node running in Extended disparity mode.
Connectivity & power
Powered and connected over Power-over-Ethernet; a PoE injector or switch is required. Power draw ranges from 2.00 W (standby) to 5.25 W in normal operation and up to 5.50 W at maximum consumption. Caution: PoE circuitry can carry potentials exceeding 57 V — always follow electronics handling best practices.
