Description
The OAK-D Auto Focus is the original Luxonis spatial AI camera, combining a 12MP auto-focus color camera with a global-shutter stereo pair for developers building depth-aware, on-device AI applications over USB-C. Its three on-board cameras feed directly into the OAK SoM for depth and AI processing.

Weight
115 g total; OAK-D-PCBA 43 g. An enclosure-free OAK-D PCBA variant with a heatsink was also offered for size- or weight-critical applications such as drones, exposing additional connectors.
Depth perception
The camera has a 7.5 cm stereo baseline. Minimum perceivable distance is ~20 cm (400P, extended), ~35 cm (400P or 800P, extended) or ~70 cm (800P); maximum perceivable distance is ~35 meters. Extended refers to the StereoDepth node running in Extended disparity mode.
Connectivity & power
Powered via USB Type-C or a 5V, 5.5mm x 2.5mm barrel jack. USB3 5 Gbps speeds are standard for streaming; Type-C power of 1.5A or greater is recommended.
