Description

The ROBOTIS AI Worker FFW-BG2 (Freedom From Work) is a semi-humanoid robot platform built for Physical AI research and real-world automation such as assembly, inspection and logistics. The BG2 is the stationary, AC-powered dual-arm configuration of the AI Worker family, engineered around ROBOTIS's own DYNAMIXEL smart actuators and an NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin AI computer.

• 19 degrees of freedom — dual 7-DOF arms, dual 1-DOF adaptive grippers, a 2-DOF articulated head and a 1-DOF lift column.
• DYNAMIXEL-driven joints — high-torque DYNAMIXEL-Y (YM080, YM070) and PH42 actuators in the arms, with X-series actuators in the head for smooth, precise motion.
• 641 mm reach with a 3 kg nominal / 5 kg peak payload per arm (up to 6 kg dual-arm), plus RH-P12-RN passive-adaptive grippers.
• Rich sensor suite — three RGB-D cameras (a head-mounted ZED Mini and two RealSense D405 on the hands), dual 270° LiDAR and an onboard IMU.
• NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin (32 GB) compute with full ROS 2 support, Python, C++ and a web UI for teleoperation, imitation learning and behavior-tree control.
• Dimensions 604 × 564 × 1,607 mm, approximately 85 kg; AC-powered stationary base.
