10Amp 7V-35V SmartDrive DC Motor Driver (2 Channels)
The Cytron's 1st smart motor driver dual channels is ready! SmartDriveDuo10 is smart brush motor driver, support dual channels, 10A continuous current for each channel. Building combat/sumo robot become easy, choose motor+wheel, get a proper battery, connect it to MDDS10, choose a RC controller and you have a robot !!  With knowledge and feedback we gathered from MD10C, MDD10A, MD30C, MDS40A and MDS160A, we are thrilled to launch this smart motor driver and can't wait to see what you can do with it. SmartDriveDuo10 has the specification of MDD10A which is able to drive two brush motor at 10A each, plus additional smart features of MDS40A. It has the capability to accept RC (Radio Control) signal for mix mode drive, analog voltage from potentiometer, PWM from microcontroller, and even controlled via UART command. the operation modes is configure by the DIP switch on MDDS10. The commonly DIP switch configurations are printed at the back of PCB. MOSFETs are switching at 16KHz for quiet operation. With the on board temperature sensor, this smart driver is able to limit the output current stage by stage to prevent itself from overheat and burnt! The peak current is 50A for 5 seconds and it will automatically limit the output current. Not to forget, to make it RC receiver friendly, we have added 2x3 header pin, with just 2 RC extension cable, the wiring is done, and it takes 2 minutes! With MDDS10, you can now series up two SLA battery to power your motor as it support up to 35V DC input. And you only require one power input to operate the motor and driver. Don't worry, 3-cell and 6-cell Li-po battery are within the operating voltage :) Hey! It also come with battery low voltage warning feature, what else do you need? Features: Input Voltage (Motor): 7 - 35VDC Single power operation Dual Channels, means it can drive two brush motor independently, or mixed. Operating modes: RC (RC servo signal), Analog, PWM, simplified and packetized UART. Support Signed magnitude and Locked Anti-phase in PWM mode. Two manual/test buttons for each channel. Two output indicator LEDs for each channel. Power, Error indicator, RUN status (Left and Right) LEDs On board reset button to restart the MCU after changing operation mode. Temperature feedback for current limit and prevent overheating of MOSFET. Support up to 10A continuous current at room temperature. Support up to 30A peak for 1 second. Current will be limited as temperature raises. Suitable for combat or sumo robot. 16KHz switching frequency for quiet operation. On board switching voltage regulator for higher power efficiency. Battery low voltage monitoring mode. We have tried this driver with single power window motor at 24V, full load without smoke coming out :) NO polarity protection, please double check the power input connection. Dimension: 66.8mm x 101.09mm. 12V 45RPM 9kgfcm Brushed DC Geared Motor
12V 45RPM 9kgfcm Brushed DC Geared Motor
The SPG50 geared motor is bigger in its size and produced higher power compare to SPG30 geared motor. It is a low-cost solution for robotics as well as automation projects. This model of SPG50 brush motor comes with a 100:1 gearbox. The gearbox output shaft is D-shaped and 6mm in diameter. The rated voltage is 12V, yet we have tried to drive this motor from 9V to 15V. Lower voltage might not have enough torque to drive the wheel or mechanism; higher voltage will provide higher torque and higher speed, but it will shorten the life of the motor. For Arduino lover, get the 2A Motor Driver shield to control this motor with Arduino. Mounting For mounting, the depth of the thread of the motor is 3.2 mm. So, you need to use 3.2 mm length (or shorter) M3 size screw. A longer screw will damage the gear box. You may need to consider the thickness of the bracket or other mechanism that you need to attach to the motor for choosing the screw.       Specifications: Rated voltage: 12VDC No load current: < 300mA No load speed: 45 RPM  Rated load torque: 883mN.m (9kgf.cm) Rated current (mA): < 1A Rated load speed: 34 RPM Gear ratio: 100:1 Metal gears Shaft: 6mm diameter x 15.5mm length Motor dimension (w x l x h): 37 x 37 x 104.8mm (inc shaft) You may need: 2A motor driver shield - For Arduino user Plastic Wheel - for mobile robot Coupling - for mounting customized wheel or mechanism Bracket - for mounting motor Video:

12V 75RPM 3kgfcm Brushed DC Geared Motor
This is a low-cost 12V DC brush motor with 33mm diameter motor size. It comes with a 60:1 reduction gearhead that produces 294mNm torque , and no load speed of 75RPM. Very suitable to build a wheeled mobile robot and other robotic projects.  To control it, you need to get a proper DC motor driver that can cope with at least 2 Amp current because the motor may draw more than 1 Amp current when it is run in full load. You may need a bracket to fix the motor at the desired location.  You should consider getting the plastic wheel if you are building a wheeled mobile robot.  Alternatively, get the metal key hub so that you can connect the motor shaft with a foreign part easily.   Specifications: Rated voltage: 12VDC No load current: < 100mA No load speed: 75 ± 7.5 RPM Rated load torque: 294mN.m (3kgf.cm) Rated current: < 600mA Rated load speed: 50 ± 5 RPM Gear ratio: 60:1 Shaft: 6mm diameter x 15.5mm length

DC Geared Motor with Encoder SPG30E-60K
12V 75RPM 3kgfcm Brushed DC Geared Motor with Encoder
The famous SPG30 gear motor is mounted with quadrature hall effect encoder allowing us to do monitoring in position and direction of the motor rotation. This is very useful especially when we are building a pulling system or conveyor system. Two hall effect sensors are placed 90 degree apart to sense and produce two output A and B which is 90 degree out of phase and allowing the direction of rotation to be determined. Please watch the video below to see how cool is it to have an encoder feedback for your DC motor. This motor is mounted with a 60:1 gearhead that able to produce 294mN.m torque with 75RPM. The maximum current of this motor may exceed 1 amp, so please make sure you drive it with a DC motor driver that can withstand at least 2 amp current.  For mounting, the depth of the thread of the motor is 3.2 mm. So, you need to use an M3 screw that shorter than 3.2 mm. A longer screw will damage the gearbox. You may need to consider the thickness of the bracket or other external parts that you need to mount with the motor before choosing the screw. Specifications: Rated Voltage: 12VDC No load current: < 100mA No load speed: 75 ± 7.5 RPM Rated load torque: 294mN.m (3kgf.cm) Rated current: < 600mA Rated load speed: 50 ± 5 RPM Gear Ratio: 60:1  Shaft size: D-shaped with 6mm diameter, 15.5mm in length Resolution of the encoder output: 3 pulses 7 pulses per rear shaft revolution, single channel output, either channel A or B 420 counts per main shaft revolution, single channel output, either channel A or B
